About Me
My Experience
With almost four decades of experience in counseling, I have helped many individuals, couples and families resolve challenging issues. In my general practice, I work with adults and teenagers, both individually and with partners and other family members.
Frequent issues for clients include depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship issues of all kinds.
I have special expertise in focusing on relationships, which requires understanding the way systems work, the way partners and family members interact and affect each other. Helping couples learn how to improve their relationships, I also help them make decisions regarding the future of those relationships if that is in question.
I'm also experienced in working with teenagers, bringing an ability to connect with them - an ability that is crucial to helping them. A long marriage and bringing up two children adds greatly to my personal understanding of all these relationships.
